Trump's Madison Square Garden rally

How...by flinging more paper towels at them?

I hope this clip makes the rounds so that potential Republican Latino voters really understand that they will never be in the in crowd. You’ll always just be a floating garbage patch to the GOP, isn’t that lovely?

If this rally is part of Trump’s "closing argument" he's toast.

There's over 400k Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania alone.

Legal immigrants HATE illegal immigrants from their own country.

This is what this closing statement is about.

Did you know that people from Puerto Rico are US citizens?

+1

MAGATs are dumb.

A Trump rally disparaging U.S. citizens.

Gotta love it.

Trump literally denied their rightful FEMA aid for THREE YEARS. He’s not going to help them, ever.

+1 4% of the population of Pennsylvania is Puerto Rican. Half a million people.

Oh no. A professional comedian made a joke about Puerto Rico. Whatever shall we do?

Make a few commercials in PA and FL, reminding Puerto Ricans that white MAGAs hate everything about them and their culture.

I’m curious about how Bad Bunny will react to this.

Hey there, thanks for chiming in! Can you please comment on the clips that have been posted here with speakers at the rally calling Puerto Rico a pile of garbage in the ocean, making racist jokes about black people and watermelon, calling the Democratic nominee a whore, and so on? Are you suggesting these speakers went rogue, no one in the Trump camp knew they would say such things, and that the MAGA crowd disapproved of them?

Thanks for your participation in this discussion.

You may want to step back from the ledge, take a deep breath, and learn to laugh. It may not be your style of humor, but sane people understand it is meant to be edgy comedy and are not offended so easily. This is the problem with the world. Too much reeing, all the while spending all day calling half the country racists and Nazis. Not healthy behavior.

Edgy comedy is when you laugh even though you know you probably shouldn’t. This is just insulting.

He wasn't doing open mic night. He was at a political rally telling Americans that their home is garbage. And it wasn't accompanied by some thing like, "I joke but I know your infrastructure needs help and we need to boost the PR economy, and here's what we're going to do to make life better for people in Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans living in the mainland."

It was just trashing a place. In a way that wasn't funny.

Sounds kind of like the early voting lines happening out there. So many Democrats that people can't get in to some polling places and have to come back and vote with some other Democrats on a different day.

Edgy comedy is not blatantly racist, bigoted, and misogynistic. How on god's green earth is any of this funny??

Here's my take: Trump is the only politician in the world who would dare to put a professional comedian on-stage and allow him to tell edgy jokes that people think are funny. It's also a smart strategy, because as we see here, cat ladies will spend the next 2-3 days in meltdown, crying over these un-PC jokes. This is exactly the nanny schoolmarm nonsense (hello, Gwen Walz) that is turning off men in droves.

Keep it up!

Humor is supposed to be funny, and it’s supposed to punch up, not down. That’s why conservatives are rightly derided as having so sense of humor, because all their humor punches down. Begging Jeff’s forbearance in the YouTube link, but Republicans have no discernible sense of humor. It’s not “edgy,” it’s not a stylistic thing, it’s just not funny because it’s bullying, not humor.

STFU. I hope Nicky Jam and any other Puerto Rican voting for Trump finally realize that they support a bunch of racist.
