Yeah, well, turns out she's got everybody excited. Who knew? Well, some people did, but Biden's team was pushing to keep it quiet.

People are excited because of the drama of Biden dropping out. Let’s see if they’re excited about Kamala in a week.

Nobody was excited about Biden and he still beat Trump in 2020. By a lot.

While campaigning from his basement.

There is nothing "grassroots" about this.

People are really good at lying to themselves. It's hope and desperation.

$81 million in donations in less than 24 hours given in sums smaller than $200 is certainly grassroots.

Mmmhmm. We'll see.

See what? That's a huge number. Bigger than anything Trump has done in a 24 hour period.

Do you always get excited about these silly ephemeral mirages? This is a highly coordinated rollout by insiders and Democratic political elites. In case you haven't noticed already, people are sick of elites in this country. The same people that told us Biden was healthy had vibrant are now trying to fool everything into believing that Kamala is some political savant, like we didn't see the calamitous race in 2020 where her candidacy got skewered by Tulis Gabbard of all people. She is not that girl, not matter how much you try to lie t yourself.

$81 million in 24 hours from small donors isn't an ephemeral mirage... it's more than half a million people.

But also, no one is saying she's a poltiical savant. They're saying she's not Donald Trump. She has the lowest bar in the world to get over.

Half a million people…..all in blue states.

888,000 donations > 500,000. By bigly. I know MaGA don’t math, but come on.

Also, I’m seeing lots of Tx and FL donations reported. If you have a state by state breakdown from a reliable source that shows otherwise, please post it.

Half million was referring to first time donations.

Yes, I have the breakdown.

Okay, almost a million refers to everyone.

Is your breakdown super secret and we should just trust you? Put up or you know….

It’s not publicly available. Sorry.

So you are saying the heat map someone just posted is… leaked (and shows you lied?) Or fake? Or?? Because I see a lot of FL and TX, which is in line with press reports.

Girl, Bye.

But her laugh. It’s so off-putting. Plus she just doesn’t look or sound like a President. There’s astroturfed “excitement” right now, but it’s going to fall away when they hear her laugh and think about her DEI career.

The media is desperate for a horse race, but it isn’t happening. SCOTUS won’t let her take any shortcuts to use the money, and her campaign will implode as people hear that silly laugh. People better realize Trump is going to have a mandate to clear out Democrats, so they better MAGA now.

I didn't like her laugh so I voted for Christian fascism.

In 2016 they voted for Trump with the belief that he would surround himself with strong advisers to whom he would listen. They turned into Never Trumpers. In 2020 they voted for Biden because they don’t want Trump. Yesterday the wife shared with me the same history and said she was worried Trump was ongoing to win but she and her husband will definitely be voting for Harris.

I know my friends who are vote blue no matter who.

inflation, immigration crisis and their business failing because of Biden's covid policies was enough for them.

They think Harris is a twit. There is no way they will vote Blue again as long as she's the nominee.

They liked Trump's populist polices as they're blue collar democrats. They know the democrat party has left them in favor of rich Wall St elites.

Trump literally is being funded by billionaires like Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Adelson, Prince/DeVos etc.

But sure, the Dems are being funded by elites.

There aren't enough to reply.

I’d love to have a woman president, but I don’t recall much from her 2020 campaign. She was my last choice out of all the other woman candidates, and I can tell you their positions.

Are you simply ignorant or what?

You said, if the candidate is not a candidate in the general election, all contributions made for the general election shall be either returned or refunded to the contributors or redesignated or reattributed as appropriate. So what does that mean? Can Harris use that money?

COOKSEY: Well, I think it's really complicated, is the short answer. I mean, we take a step back to consider the situation - this is really unprecedented in terms of modern political history, and certainly in terms of campaign finance law. We have a presidential nominee or a presumptive nominee dropping out just weeks before his party convention. And he's - what he's attempting to do is to give his entire committee, the cash and all the assets...

MARTIN: Yeah.

COOKSEY: ...Over to another person.

MARTIN: We get that. So can she use that money?

COOKSEY: Well, again, I think it's going to have to go through a process through the FEC. I think I expect there's going to be probably challenges to that at the agency and probably in the courts, as well.

MARTIN: So your colleague, the Democratic vice chair of the FEC, Ellen Weintraub, told us yesterday that candidates running for president and vice president share a campaign committee. Kamala Harris has always been listed as a candidate on this committee. Now, Weintraub didn't draw any conclusion from that, but, I mean, a lot of people are interpreting that to say that she has a legitimate claim to those funds.

COOKSEY: Yeah, I think some lawyers have reached that conclusion. I think other election law experts have actually reached the opposite conclusion in publications like The Wall Street Journal. And so I think everyone would agree, though, that this is completely unprecedented, and it raises a lot of novel questions.

https://nypost.com/2024/07/22/us-news/fec-chair-predicts-legal-challenges-if-kamala-harris-tries-to-access-bidens-war-chest/

This is all false. Harris is a trustee of Biden-Harris 2024. Biden removing himself does not limit Harris;s access to the money or infrastructure that has been established.

WRONG. The COURTS will decide. We’ll get an injunction out of Texas stopping ANY money being spent while this question is being adjudicated. The Fifth will affirm, SCOTUS will deny a stay and then finally decide in October that Harris can only use the money raised after the official papers were filed with the FEC.

Biden's money has already been transferred to the Harris Victory Fund, according to the FEC database. So that's already a done deal.

Can The GOP Sue Over Harris Getting Biden’s Campaign Funds? Sure — But It Likely Won’t Work

https://www.forbes.com/sites/alisondurkee/2024/07/22/can-the-gop-sue-over-harris-getting-bidens-campaign-funds-sure---but-it-likely-wont-work/

FEC chair Sean Cooksey—a Trump appointee who’s one of six commissioners at the agency—questioned Harris getting Biden’s donations in an interview with NPR Monday and said he expects there to be legal challenges, including in federal court. Calling the situation “unprecedented” and “really complicated,” Cooksey classified Biden’s handoff to Harris as “giv[ing] his entire committee, the cash and all the assets, over to another person” and said the changeover is likely “gonna have to go through a process” at the FEC. Cooksey suggested to NPR that since filing a complaint with the FEC can be a slow process, he thinks “there’s going to be a lot of challenges in the courts as well.” It’s unclear if those challenges would be legally sound, however: Both Weiner and Chlopak told Forbes they didn’t believe challengers wouldn’t be able to go straight to federal court without taking any complaints to the FEC first. Chlopak noted litigants could challenge the FEC slow-walking any complaints in court if the agency hasn’t made any moves within 120 days of the complaint being filed, but even if a FEC complaint were filed this week, that deadline would still fall after Election Day.

There is no basis for it. Harris is already a trustee. the GOP can file a lawsuit, but it will lose and in the meantime, they will look really petty to average people.

I’m hoping they go this route. Let them pour more of their money down legal sewers.

They’re also going to pour money into trying to forced Biden to stay on the ballot. Also not going to work.

I could see Dean Phillips suing since he went through the primaries… but even there no. Unless the corrupt SCOTUS steps in
