Princess of Wales to attend public event tomorrow

She’s the wife of a billionaire so she can afford to take her time away from public life. No shade here, I’m just glad things aren’t as dire as they may have seemed to us on the outside.

Agree. Weird letter writing campaign by bored American housewives?!?!

Omg. No…

Maybe the letter writer will get a signed portrait that she can hang in her room. 😆😆

Such a transactional, American response.
When someone is really, really sick getting letters is a way of staying positive, of getting better.
You can go crawl back under your rock.

DP. I’d be more impressed if you wrote someone with cancer who doesn’t have the best possible medical care and an army of housecleaners and drivers and cooks and nannies.

The thing is, this person isn't writing letters to impress you but to send well wishes to someone with cancer. It's not about you. Damn, who hurt you?

What? If the person wants to send well wishes to someone with cancer, there are plenty of folks closer to home who aren't already receiving the adulation of a nation.

I agree with all of this. Happy she's better than everybody thought, but she did use her privilege a little.

In this statement she says she still has months of chemo to go… is this not a long time for chemo? Someone who actually knows chime in. Seems long to me for it not being dire but what do I know.

Also, there’s no way this photo was taken yesterday. She shows zero signs of treatment at all, namely weight loss in her face (on top of her already petite frame).

That said: I’m glad she’s feeling upbeat, positive and plans to attend this weekend.

Rumors on X, that her sudden reappearance is one of 2 things:

1/ The last six months have been about non co-operation by Kate and behind the scenes negotiations, maybe a split/divorce. In which case she has got what she was after and so will play ball for this.

2/ The pressure has made them desperate again and William has put the statement out, but on the day Kate is not up to going.

Will she have a “bad day” tomorrow?

The Texas rumors forced KP’s hand. So many questionable things:
- Prince William meeting privately with M16 yesterday.
- Flights from Balmoral on June 12 (where she supposedly is with her parents and other 2 kids)…
- she hasn’t been seen in months & in first public photo is in old clothing that she’s worn before and been publicly pictured in?!?

+1. Clearly a deeply unhappy person.

In my opinion of all the cancer was gone and it was just preventive chemo she wouldn't have said she wasn't out the woods yet. I think it's more serious then originally stated but that doesn't mean she can't have good days. I guess we will see what she looks like tomorrow

This has some interesting commentary:

https://www.reddit.com/r/KateMiddletonMissing/s/mBFrBoppDn

“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty...”….

It's that line towards the end of the statement that really jumped out at me: 'I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty.’

What could that mean? What is the uncertainty? We were told Kate was receiving 'preventative' chemo, that cancer HAD been present, with the suggestion being it was no longer present. I believe this statement is extremely ambiguous, the references to 'good progress' which sounds quite cautious, and 'bad days' suggests to me that her prognosis may be more grim than we were originally led to believe.

Anonymous wrote:I hope for her sake she just has crap PR. However, it’s worth noting that Getty once again labeled the photo as undated with a disclaimer about its source from a 3rd party. This suggests while it may be an unseen photo, Getty is not confident in labeling the date it was taken (unlike, say, photos of Camilla and King C).

Thanks for posting. I thought it was unusual that KP didn’t issue the photo and that there is nothing to indicate the date.

What does this even mean? It was posted on their official social media.

Omg funniest thing I read on that Reddit site:

“I very much hope this ends tomorrow, but considering how they've been treating her both leading up to her absence since December 2023 (Camz's buddies at the Daily Fail writing stories about Kate's "yacht girl past" & her broke family) by Bucky Palace clowns Chuck & Czilla) and throughtout this mess with Camz parading the Marchinless of Chumley sidechick Rose Hanbury as a replacement for Kate, I very much doubt she's done fighting, both whatever ails her physically and/or mentally and what "the firm" is putting her through to give bald toddler Willywanker his Camilla 2.0 while he plays "sexy single dad" at his taxpayer-funded garden parties.”

Dying laughing 🤣

Can't wait to see her standing next to William and the children on the balcony!

They are the flip side to the people angry that the royals aren't working hard enough when it's not even their "tax dollars" supporting them.

That has been obvious for some time, the divorce advocates notwithstanding.

No, it's not a long time. It's normal. Chemo is very targeted these days. She has three kids and is fairly young. There's no reason not to pull out the big guns.
