She is living her life basically out in the open as explicitly catered to one man's gaze. And pursued it so thoroughly and well that he ended his marriage for her.

People don't like a story where bad people do bad things and end up rich and happy. And they like it even less when those bad rich and happy people live an extremely public life where they appear to want everyone to know just how rich and happy they are.

You just can't have it all. You can't be morally iffy, rich, happy AND loved. Sorry. Something's gotta give. I don't think they have any plans on giving up on the unethical behavior happiness or money so they're gonne have to accept not being particularly liked. They/she can cry into $100 bills about it.
