I don't hate her. She is exactly my age, in that we share a birthday and I admire her. Good for her I say. |
I think you are conflating “hate” with critiquing someone’s appearance. She can wear whatever she wants, but surely she understands people are going to comment when she legit dresses like a sex doll. |
+1 exactly |
I think she's tacky AF but I also think she owns it and a certain part of me is ok with that. It's her thing though not mine! As OP pointed out, as distasteful as I find some of her fashion choices, I respect the relationship overall and that Bezos went for a similarly aged, post menopausal woman vs. a 19 year old Russian Insta influencer or whatever. She's vaguely "appropriate" for him even if her look is questionable for those of us with taste. I also believe she's somewhat smart and interesting and she comes across as such in social media and her previous career.
I think DCUM is particularly triggered because DC has a ton of Mackenzie-types who consider themselves the most elite and can't stand to even consider that someone like a Lauren might have anything to offer. For the record, I'm more a Mackenzie type, but the claws come out here in a really gross way. |
It’s strange how men like Leonardo DiCaprio are worshipped for treating 22 year old models like disposable dolls, yet Bezos and Sanchez are routinely ridiculed and their appearances are attacked constantly online. Some of the threads and posts I’ve read on Sanchez’s appearance are extremely cruel and I’m sure she reads it. Not that she should care since she’s with one of the richest men in the world
I find it curious that Salma Hayek doesn’t get the same backlash, when she dresses similar to Sanchez and also married a billionaire. I even think their appearances are quite similar |
I think many elitist women convince themselves that men all want “classy” wives. When in reality, all these pro athletes, celebrities, and billionaires are with buxom women. Even Elon Musk was with that odd “Grimes” person (her appearance was also torn apart online). Not everyone has the same type. Some men do prefer cute, intelligent women though. My younger brother was always obsessed with Emma Watson from Harry Potter when he was a teenager (and he still likes those intelligent mousy girls). I think he’s also intimated by women like Lauren Sanchez |
You do realize that the First Lady had nude photos all over the internet. And our literal President was talking about grabbing women by the pu$$y lol. No one views America as a classy country lmao |
Love her or hate her, she is world's most desirable women for worlds most wealthy man. It doesn't matter to him if she is not young, beautiful or "classy" white woman. |
Pretty sure ppl are laughing and tsking their tongues at Leo too. Hayek is not in your face with plastic surgery. |
I don’t think about her at all until I see a post like this one.
Hating OR liking her would require too much of me. 🤣 |
+2 And it’s not racism or ageism. |
She doesn't look and dress like a classy Hispanic woman either. Someone else here gave an accurate description. She looks like "a sex doll." And that's fine if Bezos is attracted to that look, and she's smart enough tp know how she dresses. It's purposeful. |
I don’t think criticizing her very sexualized appearance is “hate”. 99% of the “hate” posts are just people saying she dresses poorly. |
Although men think about sex a lot, what really turns an individual guy on is unique, illogical, & mysterious.
There are some women who have a reputation of being really beautiful who will have zero effect on some guys, while other guys will find them sexy. And there are other women who are not widely considered beautiful but will have something that turns on some guys & not others. Bottom line is beauty & sexy are two different things in men’s minds. There is some overlap, but not as much as women assume there is. |
Listen I agree she eats a lot of sh@$ but she is also married to the richest guy in the world. Things people don’t like:
- Jeff bezos - cheaters - mistresses - older women dressing s@xy - gold diggers - obvious plastic surgery - fish out of water (ie, someone who doesn’t dress appropriately for events) - people who are richer then them - people who are richer then them and don’t feel bad flaunting it She is all of these. So she hits a cultural touch point because she is all of these things. Bezos is the villain in his story. Became Uber rich putting the little guys out of business and cheated on his decades long wife and mother of his children to marry his mistress. He’s a cartoon villain! And she’s his wife so she’s part of the cartoon villain’s team. I don’t think it’s entirely fair but I do think she’s benefitting quite a bit from the arrangement. |
