Biden is going to lose. But it is not because of Hamas or Israel. It's because more Americans than not do not like him nor approve of his presidency and do not consider his successes to be successes. His social policies are hugely unpopular. IJIA fueled inflation which affects every American. People feel poorer than they were four years ago, and they are because the buying power has shrunken. It's that simple. Not Hamas or Gaza or Israel. Most Americans are not voting on those and most Americans will not vote against Israel. The college cuckoo kids are delusional. In many ways they're scarier than Hamas.

Au contraire: I’m long acquainted with pollsters and political consultants. I’m calling out how boomer’s assumptions no longer hold. Watch what happens if there isn’t a substantial change in this issue to placate the legit concerns of the young. If that weren’t bad enough, those with sway over resources seem to be committed to furthering alienating the young. Again, thinking much else matters electorally is boomer cope, especially the tired old saws about independents and moderates.

DP. Clearly Israel doesn’t want the hostages released. The same was reported in the WSJ a few days ago. If Netanyahu brokers a deal that takes Rafah off the table, his right wing faction will take him out of office. The Hamas already said they would release the hostages for a prolonged ceasefire.

Israel hasn’t accepted. Which is stupid because they could take a breather and gather some intelligence and take out senior Hamas with sniper attacks, which would minimize civilian casualties. But, clearly they don’t care about the civilian hostages or Palestinians.

So you should demand Netanyahu release the hostages. It’s in his power. If he truly cared, wouldn’t he risk his position for them? But it’s easier for him and you to cry wolf.
