| I’m sorry but this thread is hilarious. OP, uptight middle aged people do not understand what you are talking about. And now everyone is defensive about their AirPod use and talking about NPR and audiobooks. Love to see it |
“The ick” or “ick” is common vernacular among 20 and 30-something women. Distilled translation is a sudden feeling of instant turn-off. Why 'the ick' isn't a superficial phrase used by 'picky women', but is actually a way of protecting ourselves from men who can't handle rejection We use 'the ick' to soften the blow; to blame it on a psychological phenomenon we have no control over. https://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/article/the-ick-meaning# |
A comment that rivals the stupidity of the original post. Lovely. |
. Cheaper than getting dental crowns. |
Bad optICKs. Good aurals, though. |
Only Jeff's team can excise posts, and raw stupidity isn't a valid justification. |
+1 And it was hard to rival the stupidity of the original post. |
| What kind of a post is this? So men exist to impress you? Go take a walk you obnoxious p%-+k! |
yes queen! Protect yourself from those men by .... errr.... complaining about men wearing ipods. This whole line pf thinking gives me the "ick". |
| I didn't know it was ick. I wear mine a lot in public, mainly so that I can answer my phone if I need to with struggling to find it in a pocket or bag. I'm basically on call all the time, and really can't miss the calls. |
| Why is it ick? What? |
Maybe because op is incredibly immature. |
| what do you expect them to do for sound? |
Silence >>>> saying something stupid like "___ gives me the ick." |
This is a really stupid post. |
