You won't get those until summer. First they have to take the SOL and pass advance (>= 500) on top of being over the 91st percentile, then the school lets you know over summer after the school gets scores from VDOE.

When you get the letter it explains it.

Where does the email come from? The current school or AAP center?

From the AAP center, that was the case in the past.

I haven’t gotten anything. Perhaps 16:17 is talking about a previous year.

I’m guessing since it’s after 5 it’s officially a no for today. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Last year I got my email at exactly 5:01pm on that Friday

I knew it wouldn't be today. They need to give parents the weekend to cool off.

Several years ago, we got an email from the school a few days before the official letter (mid-week) letting us know that DC is in LIV, the dates of the orientation, and some other information. The official email came on Friday between 3 and 5 pm. I don't know if they changed this.

My daughter got in from private school and we found out in January. Good luck to you all!

They always send on a Friday afternoon so parents have the weekend to calm down before calling and complaining.
