Then.... you might be more aware of how your child is presenting themselves in the classroom? And if any of it seems significantly out of alignment with what you observe at home, could use that as a launching point for a conversation with your child, and/or with the teacher at the next conference? Or, I mean, you could just bury your head in the sand and pretend that the teacher's observations as reflected on the HOPE scores aren't valuable feedback about your student's performance alongside their standardized test scores and report cards and so on. |
