Lauren Sanchez is also an honoree. Another legend among American women aviators--who knew?!

Lauren actually has licenses and can fly helicopters. Like William. Not like perennial swirling in the bowl #2 Harry.

Aww, maybe next year Harry will nominate Willy.

Link works for me. From the BRF official website, starts with “Prince Harry has become a fully operational Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot after successfully completing 18 months of intensive training.”

Well, there you go. He deserves the accolade. People like to act like he fast tracked it or something

I'm surprised Taylor Swift or Michelle Obama didn't make the list.

Kidding aside are they aviation enthusiasts? I asked because Taylor Swift is a billionaire, and certainly could own her own plane if she wanted to.

Harry is a qualified actual pilot, not a gunner/number 2? That’s what his award was for in training. He’s never independently flown himself or his family around despite his relative lack of importance, isn’t that odd? But it’s great he’s earned this honor, I’m sure Lauren and Jeff will become very close to the Sussexes since they’ve got a ton in common besides hair loss and surgery.

Famous people, well known people, in the news people, popular people. These choices have us talking about them all the way in DCUM land, so they accomplished their mission. I am sure there are people in California that would pay for a ticket/be a sponsor to be in the same room as the people.

+1! The mental gymnastics in this thread trying to rationalize anyone but Harry receiving this award when he’s the reason why we all know about it - lol.

Exactly. He is the draw. Thus he is helping a good cause. Of course no one will give him that credit.

Don't forget the "draw" of Ms. Lauren Sanchez. Can't wait to see her award winning outfit! Classy award!

But she will bring Bezos with her, that's the draw. Are you really this dense?

It isn’t odd. He was probably not allowed.

Yup, he is qualified as a pilot, earned some distinction/honors for his training as a gunner during the overall training period.

There’s also this saying he kept his credentials current through a flying club in CA.

Do you think that he ever just secretly thinks about his marriage and then oh my gosh what did I do? Even a fleeting thought here and there?

Bezos? I don’t think he’s married Lauren yet.
