I found this about her husband. These hires will bring the program capability of Visi forward at least three factors:
Dr. Andreas Häberlin holds an Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation from St. Thomas University, and a M.M. in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. As a music transcriptionist and orchestrator, Häberlin frequently works for household names across the music industry. Recent industry credits include projects featuring David Foster, Barbra Streisand, Michael Bublé, Snarky Puppy, Michael Bearden, Idina Menzel, and John Powell. Further projects include sound design for the music tech companies InMusic, Lunacy Audio and Waves Audio. Häberlin also works as a pianist and music director for local musical productions. Finally, Häberlin's research interests include instructional design in distance education and human music information retrieval. |

| Does anyone know if Visi music faculty has ever had this level of talent before? After reading these things and understanding what has transpired during recent years, I'm taken aback at the contrast. |
| Let's hope they focus on creating some truly outstanding music and don't get distracted by addressing all of the recent disappointments at once. Slow and steady efforts with a concentration on creating great music that lives up to the high standards of the athletic program is what is needed. |

Here is a youtube video showing her being interviewed about her life and career:

I agree. |
Great. Anyone know who was responsible for Pringle's hiring? |
| Pringle was hired prior to any of the current students were on campus, so some of the alums might know. He was a nice person and a talented dancer, but seemed overwhelmed with the challenge of organizing activities and events. The new person seems to have a more relevant set of skills and experiences that will serve more girls, such as choral performance, directing and musical organizing. |
Good. I have a 9th grader who is a tried and true theater kid and am glad this change has been made. |
| The new people had a meeting with the girls and announced there will be a large choir. They will have a fall and spring musical, but no play. More announcements to come this week. |
I'm a former Visi parent of a performing art student. The last (now gone, I hear) performing arts/dance instructor was absolutely terrible. His productions were a disaster. Trust me, I know as an insider the kids worked like crazy but there was no organization, management, oversight, direction - nothing. And he played favorites and was verbally abusive to some kids. |
| I have met the new people. Their joining the Visi community is an occasion to really celebrate. We need to give them some time, but they present the possibility of raising the performing program to the levels of Visi’s athletic, faith and academic prowess. Let’s just leave behind the circumstances of the recent past and be pleased with our future. |
