| Alright, here's a real topic. Stars is playing in the IL National Indoor Tournament and it looks like they got a relatively manageable pool. Can they beat M&D Red, CC Lax, and Philly Blast and make it to the playoffs? |

Brackets are mixed (jumbled?) in a pretty interesting way. Stars beat M&D Red twice and played CC Lax close last month. Philly Blast Brave (currently #8) is a tougher out. Should go 2-1. An upset of Philly Blast would be big. |

Entirely possible Pride was not welcome at the Indoor Championships this year.
Last year Katie did not even notify 27R families about the event until a few days prior (right as everyone was returning from holiday break) so there were not enough players available to attend. Seems she never officially pulled the team out of the tournament either so Pride remained on the tournament schedule and all the games were marked/scored as forfeits. |

Pride 2028s went last year; enjoyed the tournament. No info shared on why not attending this year. I will note that smaller roster size can make it feel unfair as full team doesn't get to go. |

So only some girls were selected to go? It is my understanding that most teams just bring full roster with knowledge that playing time will be somewhat more limited. |
