You all have got to vote. We elected a mayor, council members, and ANCs who think taking action to curb crime is anti-progressive. Throw the bums out! I like to think of myself as progressive, but I'm smart enough to know that all those nice social programs will be history as people move out and tax revenues decline. Put pressure on your elected officials, and if they do not come through, throw them out.

What are you going to do? Elect a republican?

Never going to happen. And there are no challengers and NO alternative to the current incumbents.

Besides, the DNC likes the current trend of no-prosecutions, no arrests, no criminal penalties for crimes, and further defunding the police.
