Yes! I’d love to see a PW day before/after Memorial Day.

I also like the TW on the Friday before we return for that full week in August. That's a day that I can actually get things done without meetings.

I mean... Catholic schools go to school on Ash Wednesday, along with the many feast days. They only take off on Holy Thursday and Good Friday (which I am not advocating for at a public school). It's like they don't even talk to the people who celebrate religious holidays before making decisions about whether to have them off. I have seen Indian people here post about going to school on Diwali being fine because it is celebrated at night.

+1 Catholic Churches have all kinds of mass times on Ash Wednesday so you can go first thing in the morning or after school/work. Even in heavily Catholic areas it doesn’t need to be an O day, it’s totally normal to go to your regular job or school on Ash Wednesday.

I think because you have to add the school day for Super Tuesday back in, which would add a day back
