PP here. 15 full TWs or TW, PD and SP days? I'm saying one of the TWs at the time 4th quarter grades are due would be helpful. |
+1 I also like the TW on the Friday before we return for that full week in August. That's a day that I can actually get things done without meetings. ES Teacher |
Yes, Megan, yes. Thank you for speaking so sensibly about how the six added religious holidays will always add interrupted learning to the calendars.
So sad to see her retiring. |
Omeish: Just suggested only approving a 1-year calendar. Oh please make this a motion, Abrar! |
Probably the only thing she's ever said that makes sense. |
Corbett-Sanders: okay with approving 1-year tonight, but threatening to approve years 2 & 3 before the end of the school year.
Laura Jane: Dramatic. Wringing hands over the mere thought of the proposal of the new blue calendar. Meren: “Honor the process.” 🙄 |
Quarter 3 is now only 8 weeks long? Wtf? |
Now they are lost in parliamentary procedure |
Voting:
Substitute Motion: Passes 8/4 Current main motion is the main motion. 🤪 . Amendments to main motion: (Megan: Will fix the June 18 TW) |
SHUT UP KARL FRISCH EVERYONE HATES YOU |
Translation please? |
Oh my god, stop with the 5 days weeks. |
Why can't the TW be June 17? Why skip to the 18? Sorry if I missed that. |
+1 Catholic Churches have all kinds of mass times on Ash Wednesday so you can go first thing in the morning or after school/work. Even in heavily Catholic areas it doesn’t need to be an O day, it’s totally normal to go to your regular job or school on Ash Wednesday. |
I think because you have to add the school day for Super Tuesday back in, which would add a day back |
