Because Republicans standy by the 1/6 insurrectionists:

Because most of them are stupid and didn't have to work hard for that money. They probably love cheap labor and love letting in illegals and bowing down to China. When you see your tax dollars going to house illegals in hotels in NYC it doesn't make you want to pay more taxes. |
You've described rich Republicans as well ![]() You ever wonder why the US Chamber of Commerce was so mad when Bush wanted immigration reform? |
Seriously. PP why in the world do you think this is only a problem of wealthy Democrats??! Eat — and tax!! — the rich. No matter who they vote for. |
I would submit there is more inherited wealth on the right and the belief of pulling one's self up by the bootstraps despite starting on third base, like Trump and most of the GOP senators who went to Ivy league schools and gaslight Americans every day. |
I am a coastal elite. Why do I vote democrat:
1. I understand what the debt ceiling is and that Republicans using it as a bargaining chip is effectively pointing a gun to the head of the economy instead of negotiating in good faith. When the republicans did that under Obama I permanently shifted toward the democrats. 2. A large portion of the republican base are religious zealots who want to break down the barrier between church and state. Those people scare me more than the nuts on the left. 3. Throughout my life, the economy has generally performed better under democrats. 4. W's decision to enter Iraq was the dumbest decision by a president in my lifetime. Many democrats stupidly supported it, but they were not the impetus behind that horrible mistake. 5. Trump and trumpists do not support the democratic process when they lose. This is a potentially republic-ending flaw on the right. 6. Republicans post-George H.W. Bush do not actually care about fiscal responsibility. |
You must be too young and uneducated to know it used to be the opposite OP. Once the Rs started focusing on cultural wars vs. real issues, the educated/wealthy votes started voting in greater numbers on the D side .
Your question should be why the poor + MC vote vs. their self- interests by voting Republican. |
President was highly misled, we find out now. Liars, from the NIH on down and across. I agree - Biden is responsible for the injuries and deaths |
People could not vote Election Day. If these people had been poor, black and rural, leftists would have lost their minds |
And they have no access anywhere in the country? None? |
So you agree, teachers could simply quit, rather than be exposed, right? |
I’m asking people here. Surely there should be thousands by now! |
Rebuttals are just talk |
And you think these women - now forced to be mothers - are going to out themselves and their unwanted children to the sadists in the forced birther movement? I guess when life is as expendable as it is to Republican forced birthers, you would have this shallow a view of things. |
Who wants to get pregnant in this environment? Birthrate is what is declining. Probably by thousands and thousand by now, |
