Chinese balloon flying

Blinken says first step is to get that Chinese spy balloon out of our air space. Um, maybe it’s just me, but I tend to think that balloon won’t leave until its mission is accomplished. China isn’t scared of this administration.

The fact that they have done nothing at this point is concerning.
They have known about this balloon for days, if not weeks. It is a fricking spy balloon.
Even the pentagon spokesperson said it was a violation of our airspace and a violation of international law.

I read from a former DOD they want to collect data and see exactly what it is and info it has which might mean a plan to figure out how to get it down to do just that. They also don’t want China to see what they will do when they launch the real one so they can plan around it.

Why didn’t they just take it down before reaching our border?

No idea. We have good friends in Montana that said it sounded loud as hell. People got cameras and seriously thought it was a ufo.
