We’re talking about Heather, not Crystal.

I don’t even mind Crystal. My sorority big sister is named Crystal and she’s a doctor

I also know an amazing Crystal who kicks ass professionally, but if we’re talking stripper names, Heather isn’t it.

I have a John and a Katherine (Katie) aged 3.5 and 2 and everyone comments how retro their names are! Whatever. To each their own.

Heather is cute and not dated at all.

Who cares? You like it.

I met a little Connie! Heather isn't dated n the least.

It's nice that people are moving away from Sophia and Emma, not that those are bad names, because they aren't.

Just that more variety is refreshing.

My name was #22 when I was born and now #323. Who cares? I intend to give my daughter my mother and great grandmother’s name - so think of a name pair that was popular in the 1880s.

Your daughter won’t get those comments because you’re getting those comments from people who are older. She won’t hear it from her peers or people a little bit older than her. I also don’t think people are going to be so rude is to comment to her face on her name very often. If you love the name, use it! It’s pretty, and as someone who loves all things 80s, I would not judge you for your choice !

Those are my siblings’ names! I’m a Laura. I love those classic names. And I have two girls: one is Heather!

Nah. The new Karen will be Mackenzie/Harper/Isabel.
