It's not only football, hockey has separate divisions too. So it's not like it's unprecedented. |
|
I wasn't aware they had an upper and lower division for ice hockey.
|
Sure do |
| I agree with PP. 2 divisions for WCAC means better lacrosse, and teams get redos on competitive games. |
| Prep with huge win today. |
a huge win today? based on the fact that Ty Xanders who really knows nothing about HS team lacrosse had them ranked in IL's top 25? |
| Not the previous poster, but Case Western was also 3-0 before today. |
| They were ranked 24th nationally, even if you don’t like Ty Xander, that’s not nothing. |
Maybe, but they didn't crack the Top 10 in the Midwest, let alone Top 25 plus HM in the country, in the Nike rankings. |
| Some good games coming up, especially GZ-PVI. A lot of PVI chatter about how the program turned the corner last year and is now better than GZ. Well, PVI has another home game (2nd year in a row) against GZ this Friday and can back up the chatter..... |
Western Reserve was one of the teams to beat in the Mid-West about a decade ago as long as with Brother Rice and Upper Arlington I do recall they used to play Landon about a decade ago during their annual Spring break trip and always had "athletes" Great win for Prep today as Western Reserve is a program on the rise and will challenge Culver as the premier mid-west power in the next 4 - 5 years. |
Game will be telling for sure. |
|
Two new school joining the WCAC soon;
New conferences would look like; Upper; SJC GZ PVI DM TH GC Lower; SMR BI OC John Paul the Great Pillotti McNamara. |
| STA now ranked #1 in IAC according to Inside Lacrosse. 😂 To bad their only wins are to DeMatha, Sidwell, Heights, STAB, Springside Chestnut, and Blue Ridge. Wish IL would take level of competition into account. |
This is just so….
