Coming back to the thread 6 or 7 pages later, I have to re-think my position. What's up with all the hate and nastiness and the frothing at the mouth by so many posters who purport to be Heights' parents? It's not a good look, and it's not doing the reputation of your school any favors.

Nobody cares what the reputation of the School among “raging liberals” is — we know what you think of us.

The Heights is raising men; men unafraid to call the killing of 63 million babies and counting—the live dismemberment of their bodies and the sale of their flesh to the highest bidder—what it is: murder; the real holocaust; evil, perpetrated by evil-doers. The “choice” to kill unborn babies is not and has never been in my experience a “respected” viewpoint at the School.

We don’t want a “good look” for those who think otherwise.

You could have benefited from a Heights education and some Prozac.

Checked the box for a Heights education - thanks! I’ll leave the Prozac to the depressed leftist box-wine women.

“23% of women in their 40s and 50s take antidepressants, a higher percentage than any other group (by age or sex). Women are 2½ times more likely to be taking an antidepressant than men.”

Run along now - we have men to raise.

Ooof. I know I shouldn't feed the troll, but like my fellow liberal PP, you've lost my benefit of the doubt.

In fact as a Heights parent I would have been upset had the school tried to police non-vulgar, protected political speech.

Do you people not realize that the origin of “Let’s go Brandon” was the media covering up criticism of a politician?

The Heights did not and would not try to censor that type of non-vulgar political satire.

Let’s Go Heights!

See the kid responding sound great then you get this ^^^^

Some of the parents are loonies!

To be clear, The Heights teaches and reinforces Catholic doctrine.

Let’s Go Homosexual Behavior is a Sin!
Let’s Go Transgenderism is a fraud and an affront to God!
Let’s Go Abortion is the Killing of Innocent Human Life!
Let’s Go All Lives Matter!

Yeah, probably best for lefty parents to avoid The Heights.

Keep showing your true colors. All of which are sins. Go Jesus!

My colors are sins? Oohhhh you must be racist! Quick someone dial 1619!

Here are my colors, which I share with Jesus:

Satan is real and his evil spirits prowl about the Earth seeking the ruin of souls.

Homosexual activity is a sin (hi, Satan!)
Transgenderism is a fraud and affront to God (hi, Satan!)
Abortion is the killing of innocent human life (we still see you there, Satan!)
All Lives Matter (hey there Satan, we know how you love to divide and just turn everything to darkness, but sorry, Satan - ALL lives matter!)

Let’s Go Jesus!

You don't even see how your own mind has been warped by sin. Jesus, Mary and Joseph weep for you. The rest of us Catholics will pray for you to wake up from your nightmare of pride that allows you to believe you sit in judgment of your fellow man and that you have all the "right" answers. Even your own Church does not agree with you.

What a Satanic thing to say. 63 million dead babies (and counting!) and I’m sure Mary is weeping for me because I’m railing against it; she’s fine with the baby-killers. I wonder what someone like you would have done if there was a holocaust against people in our country - probably just tsk tsk that we aren’t being respectful enough of the killers’ opinions.

Drag queen story hour, genital mutilation of children (who cannot legally consent to anything it seems, but we allow adults to play God and mutilate their bodies in the name of “transgenderism.” Yes, I’m sure that the Holy Family weeps because men like me call it out for what it is — wrong and evil.

There is right and there is wrong. There is good and there is evil. Satan is real and his evil spirits prowl about the Earth seeking the ruin of souls. If you think it’s all honkey-dory and the role God wants you to play is smarmy hall monitor and tone-police for those speaking out against evil, then I hope that is fulfilling for you.

There are those of us who do not want our children taught this poisonous moral relativism where every choice is to be respected and there is no right or wrong, good and evil.

Oh no! The Heights lost another liberal. Whatever will we do?

I’m also a liberal (conservatives H-not alt right, did not vote for Trump).

I pointed out that while my kids did have a great experience you will run into some parents like the one on here who thinks there are “thought police” and some kids will parrot their words. So it is something to take into account.

There is both an alum and a student posting. Their posts seem more on point.

But the loonie is also on point because that is what you will hear from parents.

Also the alum I assume’s 1st language is Spanish which is common at the Heights. Took Spanish 5 which is high level Literature class where all texts are read in Spanish and all papers written in Spanish.

Alumni from earlier—-

Yes, my first language is Spanish, and like I mentioned earlier, I never took a Latin class because of this. Those capitalization errors are really not that big of a deal. I’m not writing some formal email, so please stop!

And this poster is spot on. Some amazing students like the one above and many amazing alumni, but there will always be a couple bad apples like the person who so claims to be a “parent.”

That’s what I hate about this thread, anyone can claim to have any accreditation without being questioned. I’ve seen some crazy parents from The Heights, but none quite this crazy! Who knows what this guys deal is? Could be a heights hater in disguise or an actual parent.

Yea well women are more likely to go to the doctor when they are sick, and take care of themselves when they need to so the % make sense. You, for example, clearly need some help, are delusional and lost and continue to make a whole community of people look bad based on your actions/posts.

Hello, I am the one that pointed out the 2nd language, I don't think people know that many people at the Heights have english as a second language and I state it just to point to another think to know about the Heights. There are lots of World Bank workers, etc.

You sound like a great person and mostly what my children experienced at the Heights.

While I thought of reporting the crazy parent because they could be just a hater pretending, he says thangs very close to things I did hear at the Heights while I was there so I did not report it. You can if you want, Jeff (the owner of this site) will check to see if it is a troll, there is a report button on each post.

For example, I talked to a Heights mom recently who ranted about not wanting to go to DC with me to a museum because of "vaccine passports" and "always being controlled". I doubt students hear all the parents rants.

Anyway, thanks for sharing if OP is still around I think your post was helpful.

One thing that very much impressed me about the heights was that they were the only school in our are that opened at full capacity from the beginning of the 2020-2021 Academic school year. And more importantly, they had no outbreaks!

And very few students wear masks, too!

Did they do any testing? Given how mild COVID is in kids, any school that does no testing would likely have "no outbreaks." My guess is kids got it, no one here tested or bothered to report it, they all just came back to school and carried on. But, I'm glad to hear the teachers stayed healthy!

Kinda a ridiculous response. If the kids got the virus, they would have at least had some symptoms and gotten tested. My understanding is that there was like ~30 cases in the entire school throughout the year and all were confirmed to of come from outside sources (none from contact at school).

Likely because Heights kids don’t attend the massive rager parties like the other prep/Gonzaga privates and publics.

No matter where you fall on the covid debate, this statement is absolutely and demonstrably not true. There are many, many asymptomatic covid cases, particularly among the young.

No matter where you fall on the COVID debate, the Heights is proof that universal masking is not required to keep children safe.

And for those adults who are irrationally terrified of a virus with a 99.99%+ survival rate, who think that forcing others to wear masks or get vaccinated is needed to protect themselves, regardless of the harm to children … the Heights is proof that this isn’t the case either.

Gee it’s almost as if mask mandates have no discernible impact on COVID transmission or outcomes … go figure.

Definitely making the school look good to prospective employers here. Well done!

Way to pivot rather than have the stones to admit when you are wrong. Heights Men!
