What’s worse than an aborted fetus? An unwanted child. |

We have put our house on the market and are moving to Montgomery County. We and many of my neighbors are getting out while selling prices remain strong and going to a true progressive state. At least their Republican gov is kept in check by the blue legislature.
Excellent schools, the economy, progressive secular values, etc. are being replaced by hillbillies and their ridiculous “rights” funded by fascist republicans. Virginia is sunk. Get out while you can! |
Sure, nut job. |
+1 Farewell, nutter! You will not be missed. |
Nope. The old VA trash is dying off and all of the educated people who’ve moved in over the last few decades are taking over. Plus, a steady stream of new liberals c/o Amazon and incoming new tech/law grads. Tick tock. It’s just a matter of time. It will go even faster if Youngkin tries to push any of the current GOP insanity. |
If yiu can’t afford a house in Virginia, that’s fine. No need to make up a story of why yo have to move to the cheap seats in MoCo. Just be aware that a lot of your higher taxes will be supporting hillbillies in Western Maryland |
It was the tech people in Loudoun who supported Youngkin. |
+1 The PP seems ignorant of facts. Probably doesn't even actually live in VA. |
Hopefully the trashy western part of the state and the eastern shore (which is basically the same) will secede and form their own trash states, and be left behind by the far more successful central Maryland area, with progressive politics and polices. |
LOL. No, it wasn’t the “tech people”. |
DP. As one of those "tech people," I can assure you - we certainly made up a huge Youngkin voting bloc. You might want to get out more. |
Lots of Asian Indian tech people in Loudoun, and we supported Youngkin. We want schools that educate our kids not ones that make them feel bad about our accomplishments. |
That would be great. We have wanted to get rid of Baltimore and the trash they send here for years. Your progressive policies will continue to hamper Baltimore but it will still keep you at the top of the heap in homicides and crime. You can put them in prison in Chevy Chase and turn housing into section 8 ghettos for the baby mamas. |
Oh, I know the type. They are the exception. Most suburban, educated people supported McAuliffe. And don’t believe the GOP lies about CRT, etc. |
Im suburban, have a graduate degree and am white. And a clich, apparently. Focus groups have shown Biden/ Youngkin voters weren’t voting CRT or banned books. It was schools. That’s in line with my voting. Here come the Omicron variant. I want schools to stay open, AAP to remain, advanced math tracks to be available, and TJ to be a pure merit system. Not only tech folks care about schools. |
