Yes! This and blood sugar control/better sleep are the reasons I exercise. Being thin was never enough motivation to me!

Yes to the above. Plus, counting reps, keeping track of times, concentrating on balance, and getting a hit of endorphins all feed and keep the brain active as we get older.

I did try reading that article when you posted but between all the breaks… how long do we have to exercise? I don’t hate exercising, but some of you really, really love exercising. I don’t. I do not ever wish to go to the gym, for example.

I work out regularly and have for 20+ years without ever going to a gym except in hotels on vacation. Try some of the at home workouts on You Tube or Fitness Blender. There's a lot of free content out there for at home options, including many with no equipment.

The article recommends aerobic exercise 3x a week for 30 minutes and strength training 3x a week.

Great...another thing I'm failing at as I try to stay employed while my preschooler is sick a week of every month, and then I catch it the next week.
