Do people still wear boat shoes?

I’ve been looking at sandals and shoes for summer. Do you think boat shoes are at all fashionable? I want something that slips on easily and covers the toes so I don’t have to keep up with perfectly painted toenails all summer.

I find the men’s Sperrys to be more classic. The women’s options have gone too trendy showing animal print and metallic trim.

I’m a PP that wears them all the time. I wear white ones for summer. I have a second pair to keep them extra white. That’s more of a classic look updated for moms.
