Debloating after overindulging?

Anonymous
Feeling gross after overindulging while on vacation last week and don’t know how to fix it. I feel puffy and full and just overall uncomfortable. Whats the best way to reset my body?

Salads and fresh vegetables

Won’t loading up on raw veggies make her bloat even more?

Stop drinking alcohol and stop eating so much. You still feel full the next day? You might have gained weight or retain salt for a bit depending on the diet you were eating but you shouldn't feel full the next day and that part of things will really pass within 24-48 hours if you clean up your diet and no booze.

And yep, I just got from vacation and had to do a hard reset. We've all been there.

Do a water fast. Then do a juice fast. Then restart a vegetarian diet.

Vacations do not throw me off. I still stick to eating fresh fruit/vegetables and little to no meat. I may indulge with having an extra glass of wine or a bite or two of dessert that is shared with my family.

Hence, you have nothing of value to add to OP’s question.

Good for you. Why are you even responding to this post then. So classic DCUM. Please tell us more about your vacations where you don't indulge at all and keep to your diet. Sounds so fun.

Stop eating garbage and you’ll go back to normal.

Lots of water. It’ll take a day or two.

This is not a healthy answer, but SwissKriss and a lot of water.

There was a fantastic Mel Robbin’s podcast on this exact topic a couple of months ago. It gives quick help, prevention tips, and a 5-minute everyday plan to avoid this.
