I saw some at Trader Joe’s and thought this would be a great car dinner idea. Kid loves all bread. The ones I bought though didn’t really have a pocket. Very hard to slice open, got ripped in the process and I was being gentle. Then when DD picked it up it just sort of fell apart.
Is there a grocery store brand that’s better? I’d like to try again but need a definite pocket without ripping bread……. |
| There are pre-cut grocery store brands. I don't remember the name. Look around the deli section instead of the bread section. |
| Honestly I don’t see this working as caR dinner for a kid. |
Yeah, pita pockets are like tacos. |
| OP here, maybe I should give up on the car dinner idea but I’m still hoping to try a brand that has a defined pocket to stuff. |
Yes. No car dinners, ever. I cannot imagine any scenario for eating dinner in the car. |
Hyperbole is okay but pick hyperbole that doesn’t make you seem intellectually impaired? Like I can imagine almost anything happening in a car. Imaginations are powerful. This post just makes it seem like your imagination is stunted. |
| The precut ones need to be slightly warm to cut. There are often a few duds in the bag. |
| I would just do wraps instead. |
You’re intellectually stunted because that is not hyperbole. |
Then you’ve got a really limited imagination. |
| I bought some at either Costco or Trader Joe’s that had the very defined pockets. I don’t remember which store it was because it was the same shopping trip. Maybe someone knows of the brand that Costco sells? |
Raining cats and dogs. I’m so hungry, I could eat a horse. I am freezing. I’m so tired, I could sleep for a week. It cost an arm and a leg. These are hyperboles. |
| I remeber when I was a kid my dad used to always get the Chicken Fajita Pita from Jack in the Box during the summer when he was home for meetings and my mom was up at our cabin. Those were pretty good, lots of grilled onions. |
NP. Those are idioms. |
