| In short, no. The food safety system is very complicated and you would have to trace the checks at every step. In the lead applesauce case, for instance, the actual applesauce maker passed all checks. The issue was the machine that processed the cinnamon (not even the cinnamon itself, which also passed checks). |

Kinda Aldi Nord owns TJ Aldi Sud (completely separate company since a split decades ago when founder died) runs US Aldi stores.
So TJ and Aldi can have completely different suppliers and operations. |
