If you are looking for a nice neighborhood (not DCUM standards, but normal people standards), come look in North Springfield.
Small, but good SFH for starter home. Both are just outside the beltway. Close to 495, 95, 395, and VRE. Metro a little further away, but near commuter lots, and bus that goes to the Pentagon. Great neighborhood pool and no HOA. $500K https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/7441-Long-Pine-Dr-Springfield-VA-22151/51911337_zpid/ $580K https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5702-Dreyfuss-St-Springfield-VA-22151/51911263_zpid/ |

No OP just no.
The first one the floors were installed very badly that house needs $100,000s of work. Springfield no |

Close to 495 is no joke. The first one is basically on 495. The soundwall is in the backyard.
They're both horrible. |
|
they both look super depressing. No way would I pay half a million for either of them.
|
| Many of you have no idea how tough it is out there for most people looking for a house. They don’t have the option to tear down. Or they put up with a sound wall. |
| Hello Realtor! |
| Fertilize the lawn |
| If my only choices are renting or buying a home that backs up to the beltway, I will happily rent forever. |
Those people aren't on DCUM. |
No, neither should be a tear down. Both houses are fine. But personally I don't know if I could put up with a sound wall. And house #1 needs to get those floors fixed or replaced so there aren't actual gaps, what a mess. |
|
Overpriced considering the amount needed to make them livable. |
Why is identical houses when it is in Bethesda charming? |
| What’s up with the electrical in the first house? Picture 14 has a wire coming out of the wall through a hole right next to an outlet. Half the outlets don't have covers on. There’s another room with a hole next to an outlet. And the fridge is just plugged in over a counter? |
