Blake has always had a very public persona and she’s trying to sell her brands. She has a hair care line named after her and is the face of that brand and she is the face of her cocktail line. Unfortunately, it is all backfiring on her and every time she seems to step out it doesn’t work out because the public is largely against her.

Justin is absolutely doing the right thing by laying low and his profession calls for it anyway so don’t see the comparison or the big deal.

Wayfarer is busy making movies? Which ones??? How is that pac man movie going?

They just debuted Eleanor The Great (which received a 5 min standing ovation) - directed by Scarlet Johansson at Cannes. This is easily googleable.

But Wayfarer didn't make it, nor did they promote it and they will not distribute it. They put up some money and if it earns out, they'll make some money. Heath and Baldoni are executive producers, which means they were not substantively involved.

This is laughably obvious and sounds exactly like someone completely clueless about the film business. Yes. Movie studios finance films, greenlight projects, and hire key personnel like directors and producers to create films. That's quite literally the way the business works. The question was what films are they making, and I provided you with the answer defined by the central role a film studio plays in the production and distribution of the film. It would be the same if you asked what movies are Disney making and someone knowledgeable would list the most recently released Disney films or ones in production. You didn't ask what movies Heath and Baldoni specifically are making, implying a directorial position. And to correct another error you made, the role of an executive producer varies greatly depending on the production. They're often involved in financing, packaging and developing, securing talent, they can have creative input, and general business oversight. We have no clue what level of involvement they were in on this project to determine that.

And Justin is not developing any films or prepping to direct anything. It's fair to say he is truly doing nothing right now. Wayfarer lists a few projects "in development" on their website (including the Pac-Man movie and a film adaptation of the book Errands & Espionage) but when I searched trade publications, it looks like they are stuck in turnaround (meaning development is stalled and there is no current activity).

You seem confused and conflating different subjects as you see fit. First, you asked a question about Wayfarer and responded with the perception that Wayfarer Studios consist merely of Justin and Heath as a directorial partnership when they are the founders and have over 45 employees across 3 continents. Then you make a claim and separate the role Justin has as a director from Justin the co-founder as not developing any films when in the same paragraph you point out that Wayfarer has several projects "in development", 1, admitting you were wrong about them not "making movies" in the first place and 2, negating your argument that Wayfarer simultaneously exist as an identity for Justin and Heath, thereby admitting he is "developing films" . You can't keep your story or reasoning straight.

And as far being stuck in turnaround, again that is COMMON within the film business. It takes on average 2-5 years to complete a film from development to release. You don't seem to have any clue what you're talking about.

They also recently spun off a part of their business focused on making movies/content about Baha'i. I do think Baldoni has essentially been put in timeout by Wayfarer and Freedman in Hawaii, with the belief (a good one) that if he is out of the public eye and silent, he cannot do any additional damage to the case or the company.

And you've moved the goalpost again. A few post up you were denigrating Justin for "hiding out" in Hawaii and now you're saying it's great that he's out of the public eye. Go figure. You are the living embodiment of the plaintiff.

I'm not responding to ALL of this nonsense, but I will note:
* You are confusing multiple different posters, and attributing one's remarks to the other. Wrong.
* You say it's not clear what involvement Wayfarer had in Eleanor the Great and that maybe it was enormous! That is total fantasy, a it has been widely reported that Wayfarer just financed the movie, and the 4 Wayfarer people who produced the movie are listed as Executive Producers, not Producers, which we should all know by now means they did the least work of the real producing team. Several outlets reported that Scarlett Johannsen had never even met Baldoni. I am the PP who asked the question of what movies Wayfarer was making, and I don't include just sitting there and financing a film as "making" it. Justin Baldoni didn't "make" Eleanor the Great. He helped "make" IEWU. He "made" Clouds. He didn't sit in his house in Hawaii and spend hours "making" EtG. Please be real here and stop puffing.
* I recall it being reported months ago that Baldoni's "Pac-man" project has been put on hold. Name one real project that Baldoni is working on right now, if you can. We'll wait.

You won't answer because you're largely clueless and kept conflating Baldoni with Wayfarer as a simultaneous entity. Wayfarer did MAKE Eleanor The Great because they are the film studio who financed it, greenlit it, hired key personnel, and had creative oversight. That is precisely what a film studio does. You didn't say who directed the film. You said what movies have Wayfarer made and were given the correct answer based on the context you provided and by the film business definition. Disney makes films. Lionsgate makes films. Paramount makes films. It's the exact same thing. In your desperation to attack Justin, you can't even make credible or sensible arguments.

Name one "creative oversight" detail that Justin Baldoni got involved in on Eleanor the Great.

Or Wayfarer for that matter. Just one.

In more pressing news, Blake's latest PR move is another disaster. I guess she thought the fervor had died down and attempted to restart promotional marketing on Blake Brown. The tiktok creator had to delete (or hide) the video due to the backlash.

Blake Lively has been fiercely slammed online over her beauty brand's latest PR move.

The actress, 37, has been embroiled in a bitter battle with her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni since December, and the messy and ongoing legal saga has resulted in her receiving immense backlash in recent months.

Most recently, the Gossip Girl alum found herself in hot water again after her hair care line Blake Brown enlisted a popular influencer to promote its products.

Social media star and fashion guru Danielle Pheloung uploaded a video of Blake doing her hair to TikTok on Thursday.

It showed Blake - dressed in a black tank top and high-waisted trousers - spraying Danielle's wavy blonde locks with some hairspray.

The mother-of-four then ran her hands through the TikToker's hair and styled it before they hugged each other.

'POV: Blake Lively transforms your hair in seconds with her magic tough and Blake Brown products,' Danielle wrote in a text overlay.

She added in the caption, 'Best day ever and these products are incredible,' while tagging Blake's brand.

But the 14-second video - which contained a sound byte from the show Gossip Girl in the background - resulted in more fury for Blake, as hoards of viewers rushed to the comment section to bash her.

Some criticized her hair products and styling, while others urged Danielle to 'run.'

'Hair literally looks the exact same lol,' one user wrote.

'The way it did nothing,' agreed another.

'How much were you paid for this vid?' quipped someone else.

'Blake is looking for new friends after Taylor [Swift] kicked her to the curb,' read a fourth comment, while a fifth simply said, 'Justice for Justine.'

'Oh this is interesting marketing,' a different user added.

'No run for the hills don't look at her too long or even hug her… you don't wanna get sued,' someone else sarcastically penned.

She really is delusional. Her and her supporters really believe in the social media age that you can accuse someone of anything with impunity, ruin their life, and then go back to your myopic, happy-go-lucky, existence and women will applaud and buy your products en masse.

So no, Wayfarer is really not making movies at the moment.

This is just so bizarre and lazy. I literally just clicked on Wayfarer’s Instagram and in about three seconds contradicted everything that you just wrote, they are promoting two films right now because they have two films out, the two that are getting a lot of Oscar buzz- a nice Indian boy one and the scarjo one.

Looks like a film they made a film called “code 3” that has just been acquired. It has a couple of stars I recognize, including the guy from the office.

So looks like they are developing movies, selling movies that they made, and promoting movies that they’ve made and sold. For a fairly small company pretty much sounds like they’re firing on all cylinders.

But that’s kind of beside the point. Justin would not be out and about selling these movies to the public even if he wasn’t involved in this lawsuit. That’s just not his job. Just like it makes sense that Blake was out and about promoting the simple favor sequel. It was her job to sell that movie to the public, not whoever produced it which I’m betting we don’t even know without looking it up.

I think Justin is doing the right thing by not being very public facing right now.

Blake just launched some new brands that she is supposed to sell and she just had a movie come out. So she is likely even contractually obligated to be doing all these appearances. But yes, it’s getting a ton of backlash because she’s embroiled in a big scandal.

I’m just waiting for photos of Emily Baldoni going out to dinner with Taylor Swift. It would be hilarious and would top the photos of Taylor and Sophie Turner during her divorce battle last summer.

Well Scarlett Johansson was quoted in the press saying wayfarer was “super supportive“ during the making of the film and the article described them as “ a major backer” so it definitely seems like they had quite a bit of involvement.

Yes! They were "super supportive" by forking over a ton of cash and then having absolutely no involvement with the rest of the creative decisions besides pinning it to their instagram so that they could bask in the glow of Scarlett Johannsen! Otherwise, nada. They sat as far away from everyone else at the premiere in Cannes as was humanly possible! If they did something besides the money, they would have managed to get word about that out somehow, given their vast PR machine ha.

Apparently Family Hive LLC who owns Blake Brown, has filed a lawsuit against Kimberlie Hamner, the owner of a trademark called Beauty By Blake.

What a revolting human. Now she thinks she owns the name Blake.

Just one.

And you have proof of this I'm assuming.

She's another washed up middle aged mean girl who can't come to grips with the fact she's not a hot 22 year old anymore. Many such cases. Sad!

Baldoni supporters desperately trying to focus on Lively after the terrible week Baldoni has been having. On reddit on the it ends with lawsuits site, Baldoni fans were saying to expect a huge filing by Freedman ... five days ago. FINGERS CROSSED GUYS KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE! Meanwhile someone else posted there today about "Calling Balls and Strikes" and feeling betrayed by Freedman's completely overblowing Vituscka's statements into a defamation claim against Sloane and finding out now they won't support that claim.

You guys had a bad week. It's okay. Pain caves are fun.

Not only that. She seems to have zero marketing intellect. Anyone with a third grade education could have told her promoting your haircare product showing your strands unkempt, frizzy, and mane-like wouldn't entice the general public to buy them. That's what most women are trying to avoid. Another failed attempt to be quirky and relatable.
