So cute and so nicely done, but that’s one pricey little one room cottage!

you are paying for the view!
|
| That outdoor space is fabulous. Smart of the owner to clean up with the sale now. That place'll be in the ocean in twenty years. |
|
Got to be $7-8K per square foot. Insane.
This will sell to some rich Boomers who want one level in retirement. |
Yes. Absolutely. But, wow, those are some views for the next twenty years! |
With a murphy bed? I'm not so sure. |
| Other than the one view from the living room, I hate it. There are better ocean front properties. |
| Worth every penny. It’s gonna go over asking |
| It’s oceanfront. |
|
Too close to the ocean! The noise would get annoying after a few days. And what happens if there's a storm surge?
Also, for that price and size, I'd expect the interior to be much nicer. |
I’ve never heard this complaint, sour grapes to the max. People pay an arm and a leg to be lulled to sleep by the ocean sounds. Enjoy your cookie cutter suburbia. |
The outdoor seating area with the fireplace is literally like 4ft total. |
Cost of deck: $4k Cost of building deck in oceanfront Malibu: $9.7 Million Cost of building deck in Herndon, VA: nothing |
I am not at all bothered by the noise but I have to say there is something unsettling about the waves coming so close to the house. We stayed at a cottage on the Chesapeake once with a similar setup and one night the water came so close I was mildly panicky. It's definitely anxiety producing. |
| That highway is dangerous. There have been numerous deaths on it, because cars whizz by yet the houses/beaches/pedestrian walks are right there next to the road. |
