Vegetarian dinners

Just curious- how often do you eat vegetarian dinners? Vegan dinners?

Vegetarian? All the time. Pastas, beans and rice, soups and stews, rice bowls, veggie burgers, pizza...

Vegan? Never intentionally, I guess. Maybe when we eat beans and rice and I use tofutti instead of sour cream?

Probably 5 nights a week.
Once a week we have salmon and another night we have rotisserie chicken. Other than that it’s all vegetarian. Rarely vegan although my kid has a bestie allergic to dairy so if she has dinner with us it’s vegan.

We are a fully vegetarian family but I’ve been trying to make mostly vegan dinners this year. We had vegan chicken Caesar wraps for dinner tonight.

I am vegetarian so every day. I don’t do vegan. Rest of the family eats everything.

I am a vegetarian so every day. Sometimes vegan, just depends. Kids are vegetarian too. Spouse is not but eats little meat and doesn't care.

Once a week maybe. We’re omnivores and one of us actually used to work in the beef industry so we have a strong aversion to all the misinformation and propaganda that’s put out about how animal agriculture is ruining the planet. Responsible ranching is sustainable and positive. That said, we also don’t need meat at every meal, but breakfasts and lunches are more likely to be vegetarian than dinner.

Very rarely. I can’t remember the last time we had a dinner without meat. Sometimes it’s a small amount, but it’s almost always there.

Probably 5 days a week if I’m cooking all week.

We have salmon once a week (our vegan has something else). Otherwise we're vegan at home.

Half the family is vegetarian, including the main cook, so all the dinners are vegetarian. Of our 8 day meal plan this week 3 dinners are vegan.

I would love to do this but end up with just spaghetti.

Maybe 1-2 times a week we will have something like pasta, pizza, homemade nachos or omelettes for dinner. Otherwise, we are having a meat or fish, usually just chicken breast or salmon.

Almost never eat vegan as a family.

I eat vegetarian 2-3 times a week. I hope to increase that to 5-6 times when my son goes to college in the fall. And really I mean pescatarian, as I plan to eat a lot of fish and seafood.
No idea about vegan, but I would guess it’s rare.

I'm an omnivore, but grew up in Greece, where vegetarian and vegan meals are very common. I make "ladera" - vegetable stews where things like green beans, eggplant, zucchini, or potatoes are cooked with onions, tomato, and olive oil. Lentil soup or bean soup. Stewed chick peas. Spinach rice (spanakorizo). All of these are vegan. Greeks usually serve these vegan meals with feta or cheese, unless doing a religious fast.
