CD-T = F Student has not demonstrated any particular knowledge or skills or contributions to the class; student seems focused elsewhere
DP = F Student demonstrates complete lack of knowledge and inability to ask questions or to even know what questions to ask
MK = C Student gives good effort and asks questions, but judgment often clouded by data sources and doesn't always follow through on tasks
MT = TBD, first quarter grades not yet available
BZ = C- Student showed promise but has failed to deliver, not focused on academic quality

CD-T: D. Not invested, puts minimal time into the job. Likes to hear herself talk waaaay too much. But it's just meaningless drivel that she thinks sounds impressive (but is not), condescension (stop talking down to parents with actual experience in a school division) or cheerleading of APS (blech). Oversells her very minimal teaching experience. I cringe whenever she opens her mouth and wish she would just.shut.up.already.

DP: C-. Seems like a nice guy, and I think he's trying but is clueless. I almost feel sorry for the guy. Seems over his head. He has just kind of sat there.

Mary Kadera: B. She seems to really care, has the right priorities, and is extremely responsive to parents and teachers. But also not sure she's actually delivered on anything, hence the B. I would love to move her into the A category.

BZS: B-. She also seems to really care and has the right priorities. Love her past work at Randolph. Not sure she's really done much on the board but she's also still pretty new.

MT: F. I just will never ever give a higher grade to someone who started an organization that has done so much damage to our community, and who only listens to her APE base. I do not trust her or her priorities and never will. At best, she will be ineffectual, at worst, she will do real damage to APS.

We don't wonder. It has to be a Democrat. But it can't be a Democrat who is ALSO a federal employee, which leaves out a ton of working people in Arlington. The field of eligible candidates is relatively narrow.

Certainly not someone who is responsible for fostering so much open hostility towards teachers/APS.
