| I want to get them for my teenagers and wonder is it all hype or really that great? |
| I like them and think they work well. I just bought the new anti sweat version along with the regular in anticipation of the 6 month sweat fest we have in DC. Haven't use it yet though. |
| No. |
| I really like it, but I’d say if you’re going to be sweating a decent bit, it doesn’t cut it. It’s fine for everyday use. |
| Everyone I know who wears natural deodorant smells. They just keep telling themselves that they don’t. |
|
Maybe if they don’t sweat. Didn’t do a thing for my teen.
I used to use it, but after a year it just stopped working for some reason. I’ve heard similar from others. No clue why this happens. |
I agree with this |
I cycle Lume and Secret. After a few months, each of them stop working, so I switch to the other. |
| I haven't tried the underarm/solid deodorants, but i do use the whole body cream deodorant. I mainly use it on the downstairs region, and find it very effective for odor control. Never tried the sweat control version. |
| is the body cream really worth it? does it really eliminated smell the way they say it does? |
| In my opinion, no, not worth it. The scented products have an overpowering, cloying scent. I do have unscented wipes that I like. But as for the deodorant stick and the cream, I really dislike. |
| I tried it and everything just felt damp since it's a cream. Not a fan. |
| That woman on the ads seems to think everybody is worried about their butt crack smelling bad. Have you ever smelled anyone else's butt crack odor in the course of normal interaction? I find it all rather bizarre. |
After this thread was started, I googled lume to find out more. I am bombarded with the ads during the day (I work from home and like the tv on) and I didn't realize they were a natural deodorant. I just thought their "market disruption" is that they were marketing to a whole new use (privates and boobs). Anyhow, the first hit I read was a reddit thread. And some woman was saying she liked Lume because she used it for cardio classes at the gym around her vulva, and that prior to this, she was concerned about vulva smell halfway through class. And I am reading this and my head is exploding and I'm thinking how terrible it must be to be a young person today. I mean, worrying about smell from any part of your body during a gym session??? |
|
For me Lume works and usually last at least 24 hours if not more. The down side is that it doesn't smell great when it goes on by then fades as the cream sinks in. I put it on and then let it sink in while I get ready, before putting a shirt on.
Will definitely buy again, because it's the only thing that has worked for menopause smell for me. |
