| With the two new additions of SYC and VRSC to the GA, while FCV staff (BP) have left. Who stands at the top for the U-19 age group in VA ? |
| who cares |
| whichever one your kid plays for amirite |
This, though I do think SYC may turn out to be smart for playing a long game. But really, who cares? |
| Can we drop the U19 aspect of the question? Which of the now 3 area GA clubs will be on top in 3-5 years from results on the field and college placement perspectives? Not relative to the ecnl clubs, just relative to each other. |
| Feel like FCV have a lot of players turning the other shoulder |
|
If you're a U19 that has aspirations to play collegiate and haven't committed you just need to find the best fit that will provide the most exposure to schools you're looking for.
And it might be none of the above, or a few. |
I would say SYC. |
| VRSC is 5 years old. 5 years from now they will be top. 2 years from now, not quite. Driven leadership with probably the strongest financial backing. Constantly making investments. |
Same the 2012 mothers have plastered this on every single thread NEXT |
Don't act like Rev is the only club making investments. Literally every club around here HAS to make the investment. With Rev and FCV you have to hope they will. Paving the lot and building a bar/concessions doesn't make me feel like they're all of a sudden worth the additional costs vs other clubs. |
Making investments is great until the money runs out. At some point you need to be profitable and most soccer clubs in the US are barely break even. |

I've held this opinion for a while now after seeing Evergreen get purchased and become Rev. Is this owner just some guy that's fine breaking even for years or potentially being in the red due to having to front money for these investments? |
SYC is golden! For the future as it looks but no one really cares for groups less than u16 and above. |
