This guy thinks 9/11 is an inside job or that Israel did it. Michigan State had him do an event this month

| I guess the psych department needs programming events, so, sure. |
| I think universities should seek to expand the intellectual palates of their student body. |

| Naturally, it would be sponsored by the "Malcolm X Muslim Studies Community Forum." Good grief. |
|
Why not? I don't think universities should be policing speech like that.
It's not even clear he talked about 9/11. Mahmoud Abdul Rauf has a lot more about him than '9/11 truther'. |
Except for troublemakers like Ben Shapiro and the like. We don’t want those intellectual palates expanded in the wrong direction, do we? /s |
| No conspiracy theorists should not be at university sponsored events. We have a huge problem with conspiracy theories in this country. 9/11 “truthers” are a gateway to QAnon. Need I remind everyone what that sh*t has brought us?! |
There's a difference between policing speech and paying them student activity fees to spew conspiracy theories. The school should be prepared for the fallout from people who disagree with the nut. |
Those who disagree won't be permitted to speak. Otherwise, it isn't a safe space. See how helpful safe spaces are? |
| So of David Duke were invited to speak on environmentalism it would be okay ? |
Is that a problem? |
| I would love to have some engineering department or something try to model a 747 hitting the Pentagon. |
a 757 isn’t a 747 |
| While I vehemently disagree with him, we would do great violence to freedom of expression to ban him solely on disagreement with his beliefs. |
