They were reviewing applications today. |
School committee or central? |
It would have to be the Central committee because that is the only group that reviews applications. |
It’s central committee but I don’t understand the point of this post. You’ll still hear around start of spring break or after. |
How do you know? |

This link says central committee meets in March. I am speculating that OP meant the school committee meeting. |
Has anyone requested the packet and received it? |
I’ve been confused on this. We submitted a packet for local services level 3 in December and have not heard anything nor been told when the local committee even meets. |
I thought the rule on local services is that you must hear within a month from your school? |
Even if they are releasing the Friday before spring break (so March 23), it's early for the committee to be meeting. This is the time that school committees usually finalize packets, though. |
That makes sense. We got packets from AART on 2/22 last year, when they were sent off to central committee for review. |
The central committee doesn’t meet until March. Schools were still finishing packets this week. |
If you have not yet pleaded your case with the AART, you are out of luck. The applications are being finished. |
Not really clear what this means. Didn't everyone turn things in during December? Can you really add things into the referral between December and now? |
Some people try and influence the GBRS, now HOPE, scores that are given by the AART and Teachers. |
