Fair assumption. If memory serves, I don't think they send any sort of notification. Just think student needs to start refreshing application portal in late afternoon. Good luck! |

| There’s very little merit aid offered by umd compared to other schools. Don’t depend on it but consider it a nice surprise if you get it. |

I admit to having no hard data, but I suspect that merit aid is much more likely OOS. We are in-state with 2 terps and the only kids we’ve heard of getting aid were Banneker Key recipients but these are the same students who are true contenders for Ivies. |

PP. Even with the $10, COA is ~$46k. Think we're still paying double (as we should) the cost of MD residents. |
