Naahhh that seems way too high. Unless you’re picking the priciest options.

We have a large bathroom but didn’t change placement and chose medium to nice materials. Was 70k. Love it now.

Im currently shopping for a design/build for a large master. We have been quoted 65-85 for standard, prob more like 125 for tricked out a bit.

We just recently replaced the tile on our large shower (there was a leak) and that alone was $10K.

We redid our 8x12, master bathroom ~2 years ago for $40K with Carrara marble floor and shower, soaking tub, double vanity, frameless glass walk-in shower, floor to ceiling wall cabinet. I can't imagine a rip and replace job costing over $45K unless you got some extremely expensive tile.

Two years ago is irrelevant.

OP, what kind of finishes are you looking at? Our allowances alone (double vanity, stone counter, shower glass, tile, plumbing fixtures, towel bar/ TP holder accessories, vanity lights) are close to 12K.

This is very similar to a quote we just got in NWDC for an 8x9 space, although we don't have the soaking tub or floor to ceiling wall cabinet.
