She's dead. She died 2.5 years ago. Before that I called her about once a month. I was 44 when she was last alive. We lived 3,000 miles apart. I saw her about once a year.

4. As needed. She does not prioritize visiting or spending time with her grandchildren despite being retired with no hobbies or friends. I visit 2x a year along with my siblings and go to help out with various medical appointments and other problems.

I am an only child and have always been close to my parents. They are not perfect and neither am I. Over the years, we have come to a good spot to stay connected without getting in each other’s way. I do still get annoyed at times with them and their ways, but I am sure they do with me as well.

Same here. But she's blocked so I don't know if she calls. But I doubt it. Just want to make sure I never talk to her again.
