Teen and I are thinking of adding a corner bed, thoughts?
|
| I personally would not do this, but if it’s inexpensive or you love it, go for it. |
Looks cozy. Hard to make? |
| I thought about this when we re-did 16 year old's bedroom. Then I realized they would lose two walls for anything else AND the frame is super low to the ground which might have been annoying so I didn't do it. |
What type would you go with? I’ve also concurred traditional : I see a lot of these metal beds

I was thinking of a bed like this, but for my 7 year old. I think a teen would get annoyed with making the bed as they are taller and would have to crouch, etc. Wall space would be lost as previously mentioned, but if their room is large, then no big deal. |

17y old - twin bed with "leather" headboard from Amazon

| Both of my teen girls have Ikea beds with drawers underneath so they can't shove things under their bed and have more storage. I added fabric headboards and floating nightstands. |
| My daughter also has the Ikea bed with drawers underneath. It's the IDANAS upholstered bed. |
| My kids have 2 different Full size Ikea beds. Not with drawers under. |
| Looks like a huge pain to do the sheets. |
+1 |
| That looks stupid. |
