Who wants to play college soccer (probably D3). In Maryland. Close to Beltway preferred but flexible. Current club team may be breaking up and wants more of a challenge.
Thanks in advance for clubs with proven track records (we are aware of big clubs like Bethesda soccer). Probably not ECNL level. |
| Rosa, Next Level |
agreed! |
| If you truly want college- Bethesda |
The above smaller clubs are fine. Bethesda doesn’t have the monopoly on girls who can play in college. There are other clubs that have a decent records. |
| What level league to you all think is necessary to play college soccer? |
Agreed and if they are a current 9th grader assuming they are an '09 too Bethesda team is very much an option right now, don't sell yourself short, reach to their coach to attend a practice |
| Juventus. Very solid 2009 girls team, they play EDP. DD is there. Much kinder family environment but still intense coaching and play. |
What is their college placement record? Their website doesn't mention any. Does it compare the Bethesda's https://www.bethesdasoccer.org/commitments/ ? |
|
To PP: no. The request was for a NOT Bethesda-type club. If the track record ask is for college placements, it’s Bethesda.
Other options: FCBG, MD United? |

If she can play, consider FC Frederick 08G. They have won everything and Frederick has many of the things Bethesda has - (solid technical, good futsal league, solid college placements) but overall not as douchey a club as Bethesda.
Next Level also is hidden gem of a club. Here are FC Fred’s bona fides. https://home.gotsoccer.com/(X(1))/rankings/team.aspx?TeamID=1305753 |
Rec league + high school team if you are a good natural athlete and want to play lower levels of college. See how broad your question was. |
| I would say SAC in Columbia, MD. Good facility and well managed. Can’t speak on the coaching as I really don’t know. |
| Where do the Next Level girls practice? |
| Liverpool DC Metro, World Class Premier both practice in MoCo |
