Celebrities who lie about weight loss without Ozempic; Kelly Clarkson I'm looking at you!

Anonymous
Why are celebrities so shady about this?
It's the like "natural twins when I'm 49" phenomenon.

I get that they don't owe us (the public) anything but why is Ozempic (etc) something to be ashamed of?

Kelly Clarkson is claiming to have naturally lost what looks like 100 pounds. After spending her ENTIRE adult life (20 years) at a much large size.
As some one "built like her", I can say that you don't cruise along for 20+ years at one weight and then at age 41 suddenly drop 1/3 of your body weight
by watching what you eat and walking after work.

she doesn't look like she has lost 100 pounds! yes, she lost some weight, but certainly not 100 pounds!

If I were a celebrity I would try to stay the f$& out of it, frankly. If she says “yes I’m taking it,” people will accuse her of endorsing it or downplaying the risks or whatever and come for her anyway.
In our society, there really isn’t a way for a public figure woman to lose or gain weight or grow old too much or not grow old enough without catching a bunch of negativity for it so I get why they might just say nothing on this and hope for the best.

Actually it is entirely possible to lose a lot of weight by switching to a high fiber clean diet, cutting out most of the junk and processed foods, and by changing your lifestyle from the typical sedentary American to being on your feet and walking a lot every day.

People who eat a clean high fiber diet consume fewer calories naturally - careful research has established this. A healthy gut produces glp-1 naturally and that reduces appetite. A healthy diet doesn’t drive overeating. Moving the body regularly also reduces appetite. It’s only when you get to the level of intense exercise that it drives higher calorie consumption and most of us are nowhere near that.

I know people are sick of hearing me say this but a clean diet really works. It’s healthier and cheaper than Ozempic et al.

Everyone gets to make their own choice about what they want to share, even celebrities. Why do you care so much, OP? How does this personally affect you?

I'm built like her, eat a very clean diet and exercise rigorously 5 days per week. I was the same size (about a size 10-12) for 25 years--through4 years of playing D3 college soccer, running close to 40 10K and half marathon races, etc.

I'm 49. Started Mounjaro and I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. I haven't been this size since I was 14. It's crazy. I could exercise around the clock and not have achieved this.

She said she was pre diabetic too so I’m assuming she’s definitely on Ozempic.

Of course she used ozempic or something similar. Who cares? Live and let live.

I feel sorry for her. She has a beautiful voice and tons of money, but she has obvious insecurities that led her to settle for a jerk of a husband…who she will be tethered to for life since they have kids. She seems to have low self-esteem and anxiety…probably depression…and is likely medicated yet will never feel real happiness or joy like those who do not have the baggage she has.

Being skinny won’t make her happy.

I don't think that many people are lying about their life, OP.

Not sharing is different from lying.
I support their right to privacy.

You sound very aggressive and triggered. These human beings are trying to protect themselves from fixated people like you. Imagine thousands of yous ganging up on one hapless singer. Yeah, it's not a pretty sight. Leave them alone.

Is this a serious post? Kelly's weight has fluctuated up and down for years, ever since Idol.
