While I don't think there's anything wrong with getting pregnant at that age, I can't imagine 10 years down the line - being 53 with a 10 year old, dealing with menopause at the same time, etc. etc.

Well, as an actual person this age with an actual 10 year old, I can tell you that it's actually pretty good! I have more money now than when I was younger, more patience, and enjoy doing things with my kid and taking the time to do them.

Oh and menopause has been awesome too because no more periods LOL

First of all, what is with yet another PR insert into this Forum? But also, being in menopause is awful. I would take periods over sleep disturbing, non-stop hot flashes any day. You are not really in menopause if you don't know this.

I'm not a PR person, I'm a middle-aged mom on lunch break LOL. And I'm through menopause and it's great! I'm also not the only woman who feels that way.

I went through menopause without any of that. My period just started coming at longer and longer intervals and then disappeared for good at age 52.
