What will a day in the US look like after a Republican win 2024 elections?

I am generally curious what people think the US will be like under a dictatorship?

Russian citizens love their lives so do North Koreans, right? How much do eggs and bread cost there compared to here? How available are those simple foods? Can you go to the store whenever you like? Any restrictions on citizens movements? They are dictatorships why would ours be different?

Utilities ie gas, electric, water bills run by the government of dictatorships? What will that look like. Texas already gave the power company carte blanche they don't have to provide services. Is that what you all want? Ask Texans how fun that is before you answer please. Then again most of you are rich enough like Ted Cruz to run to Cancun....

Taxes?Trump already stole $7.8 mil from taxpayers. He won't have to steal it next time. He will create his own taxes and funnel monies to all his companies while raising taxes. Yes your taxes are going to skyrocket. But I guess you are good with that? Of course he is saying he will lower taxes, but that won't stop him from creating new ones. Have you think about that?

Food how in the world do you think we will not have food shortages and prices not skyrocket? Serious question. Farmers will not have workers day one deportations started. During the last Trump administration bankruptcies for farmers hit a all time high a 148% increase.

Voting rights LOL. We will never vote again. I guess Republicans are ok with Trump or any other Republcian being in office for ever. Because if you think they will stick to term limits you are not paying attention. Plus red states that are fully red can get rid of term limits.

National religion which will it be? Evangelical, Catholic (SCOTUS common denominator LOL), Methodist, Church of Satan, Muslim, obviously not Jewish.

Abortion will not be the only reason women will not be able to travel interstate without permission women who are Republcians I know you haven't thought this one through. You think abortion is the only thing at state for women. It is just the begining so you are ok with divorce laws changing and men getting it all when you divorce? Just a simple example of where GOP is headed on that one. Already started in MO, MI, Oklahoma, South Dakota.

Claiming Russians are happy with their lot seems like a shaky premise (at best). Even before their illegal invasion of Ukraine that resulted in sanctions, increased prices of goods and many dead Russian soldiers, Russia ranked less than half of the world average on the world happiness index.

Of course they are not going to publicly express their unhappiness given that they will likely end up in jail in Siberia or worse.

It will be more like Iran. We'll all just be pariahs abroad. A bunch of bitter old men will beat women to death, but since this is the US, for not dressing sexy enough instead of dressing too sexy. Local "officials" will start to take bribes, making justice = wealth. And we'll all just try to keep our heads low so that the violent bitter old men leave us alone.

Prior to that.....
Economy thriving.
Gas prices low.
People could actually afford groceries.
Public satisfaction high.

He takes actions that he knows are unconstitutional and uses his law enforcement agencies to go after his political enemies.
