Do any of those non alcoholic 'relaxing drinks' actually relax you?

Like De Soi etc... has anyone tried any of them?

I've been loving Recess Mood, but I'm not sure it relaxes me beyond a nice placebo effect, and it is quite expensive.

I love it though -- I have one each afternoon in a wine glass and feel fancy and healthy and happy with it.

I have been drinking HiYo and I like it. I get a similar “float” from kombucha and it’s roughly the same price. It’s a fun treat to have on hand for sober party guests.

Use the Calm powder drink before bed, but it’s mostly magnesium, which helps with sleep and muscle relaxation.

Does this cause vivid dreaming or insomnia? In some people their brain gets stimulated by magnesium.

Same. Love this stuff. I like the grapefruit tangerine. I drink it in a rocks glass....as I would otherwise be drinking scotch.

These things sadly do nothing for me.

The effectiveness of non-alcoholic "relaxing drinks" can vary from person to person, as they often contain different sets of natural ingredients designed to reduce stress and promote relaxation. My personal experience with these drinks has led to some mixed results, but one standout has been Icey Vlue. This particular beverage combines botanicals and adaptogens that work harmoniously to create a calming effect. After consuming Icey Vlue, I felt a noticeable decrease in my stress levels and a serene sense of relaxation. It's become my go-to drink whenever I need to unwind without the effects of alcohol.

I was buying Recess Mood because I liked the idea of a drink with a magnesium supplement. That’s what it has, magnesium. And then I looked on the label to see how much it has. It has hardly any. Not even anywhere near the RDA so I’m not spending a whole bunch of money on that stuff anymore.

Why does this read more like marketing than a regular post?

Same. I just take a magnesium glycinate supplement, or use magnesium lotion, as it’s more readily absorbed into the bloodstream via our skin.

Calm actually gave my husband a severe migraine, to the point he threw up. It was a severe, almost immediate reaction. It didn’t have that effect on me, but obviously some people can’t tolerate something that’s in it! I didn’t buy it again.

Take a Centrum. These drinks are 100% placebo.

I drink the CBD ones, CANN. those are really relaxing.

I did try a Kin Euphorics cocktail at a restaurant (I think it was Dream Light) and I slept really well that night but I've never tried it again to see if it was the drink or any other variables from that night.

Placebo can be as effective as powerful medicine. Not sure why you think it's bad.

(Centrum isn't great either. There are better multis.)
