I lost 3lbs!

Anonymous
Going to brag on myself a little … I put on 3lbs over the holidays and somehow have managed to take it all off by today after starting back on track with diet and exercise on Jan 2!

I’ve just been doing WW very faithfully, and ramped up the workouts. I’ve been doing pretty vigorous weight training sessions 2-3x/week plus 30 minutes of very slow jogging 2-3x/week.

(And yes I know this is mostly “water weight”! And I still have 15-20 lbs to go …)

Keep it up!!! Great job.

You’re doing great! Putting in the work with food choices and exercise and seeing results. This will always feel better, long term, than any quick fix solutions. It’s hard getting back after it from the holidays.

GOOD JOB OP!!!!

KEEP IT GOING!!!

nice! if you pick up something that weighs 3lbs and lug it around for a while and then put it down, you'd certainly notice a difference--and that's what you've done!

Way to go!!

THAT'S GREAT! That kind of discipline will keep you steadily getting rid of the remaining weight you're trying to lose.

Good job. I can be up and down 5 pounds in a day, so it would mean nothing to me. I should switch the scale to kg.

I’ve actually been weighing myself daily so I can see it’s actual downward progress! I got that advice from a trainer I worked with once. That way you get more frequent input so if you are randomly bloated on your weekly weigh-in day you don’t feel too upset.

Good job. You should be really proud of yourself for enjoying the holidays and then doing what you needed to do to get that weight off.

Great job OP. None of this bullshirt about it being "only" water weight!

If you are bloated losing the water weight is amazing. Ask me a couple of days after my period starts ... and the water retention is gone and my pants fit right again.

Great job! I’m also down 3 lbs (with a lot more needed) and was feeling discouraged that all the changes and effort weren’t hekpibg much. So thanks for posting and reminding it’s a long process and to stay positive.

It's only water weight.
