Yikes. This is getting ridiculous. Poor kid. 7 vs 1 ---what a bunch of cowards. That is absolutely disgusting to gang up on someone like that--you never did mob assaults unless it was a bunch of cowards back in the day. |
W-L is a woke, dangerous cesspool. |
We all know what the problem is. |
Were these upper classmen or younger kids? |
Serious question. What is the problem? |
What? Only "woke" people mob attack? |
Are you suggesting that the attackers are "woke" and were attacking someone who was doing something "not woke"? |
I interpret their comment as meaning the administration and county and school are 'woke' which is why they got rid of police officers, SROs and rules/discipline. This is the result. |
We are zoned to WL and sent our kids to private HS because of crap like this. This got reported. So many more incidents that aren't reported.
Not really conducive to a good learning environment. |
Thank you. 100%. |
Y'all are smart. Place is dangerous. Everyday. Dirty place. |
I'm guessing the PP's use of woke was for the school administration who don't believe gangs exist and are likely to force the victim into a restorative justice circle with the 7 attackers where they will feign regret but continue to harass the victim. At least in the 90s you could count on the 7 kids being suspended or expelled for a reprieve but that doesn't happen anymore. |
Yep. You get it. |
I asked my 2 kids who go to WL about it, and they didn't know any details. Hadn't even heard about it. Maybe that means it isn't on social media. Honestly fights aren't all that common from what they say.
The W-L principal and administrative staff don't mess around when it comes to discipline, so I'm not sure why you'd call them "woke". And yes, suspensions for fighting do happen. Because of privacy, they can't publicize it, but the kids can tell you. |
Apparently the commenter's theory doesn't hold. The police were called. |
