Average cost for spring break vacation

| Just curious what the average cost is for most people for a spring break vacation. We are going for six nights to the Caribbean and staying in an Airbnb and doing this for 3800$ with flights included. I’m thinking with food and excursions annd activities it will probably be around five grand. DH says this is very expensive. We can definitely afford it. he is just cheap with travel always. I told him that this is actually really good. Just curious what other people are spending for spring break? |

That's a great price! Ours have ranged from about 2K (road trip, modest Airbnb and state park hiking) to 15K (southern California, including Disneyland -- didn't realize how expensive it was till I added it up, was horrified). Other trips we've done have been in between. '

| That is a great deal, what island? My family of 4 is spending about $6800 for 6 nights including flights and airport transfers at an all inclusive in the DR. |

| Well I can’t find anything at a resort that my family would stay in for less than $1200 a night so I think that’s very cheap. |

| Is your spring break not the week before Easter? I can’t even get flights for that. |

| It is last week of March- we are staying through Easter and coming back right before school starts again. FCPS has a really long break this year. Flights were cheaper to leave middle of week and return on a Tuesday before school resumes. |

| We're going to spend less than $1000 camping. $250 for the campsite, $750 for gas, food, fun outings. |

Usually we also go to Rehoboth which costs about $10k for the week. Sometimes we will go for a week at Christmas which is about $15,000. |
