Son weird behavior

Our 16 yo son decided to rub toothpaste all over his closet (yes we live in Bethesda) on the top of the shelves then used toilet paper and stuck it all over the toothpaste. Then had the audacity to laugh about it when confronted saying he “didnt know”. What are we dealing with here?

Not only that he then used toothpaste and caulked all over the bedroom moldings, mind you this is a new build (2009) and drops the home depot book on the floor during night hours and turns the tv on full blast intentionally to annoy us.
