Hearing so many nasty, wet coughs while traveling internationally. I started maskignnagain, and I'm not even a germaphobe. I just don't want to ruin a trip with an upper respiratory infection. But it sounds so bad now. You masking up in airports and planes?
At airports? Hell yeah.
Yep. And a few other places too. I keep a mask in my coat pocket — and pull it out whenever I’m seated next to someone with a cough that I don’t want to share.
I flew today and someone was vomiting on our flight. I’d bring a mask and sanitizer. It is nasty.
I flew the other day internationally and masked the entire time. Everybody was coughing and gagging all over me. Disgusting.
I mask on the planes and in congested parts of the airport also and it's not about COVID. Last flight I was on, the lady behind me vomited the whole flight. Folks are nasty so I'll do my best to protect myself
I do if people are coughing around me. That's about half the time, although I haven't flown for about 3 weeks so it's no doubt worse now. I have a trip in 2 days, I will probably mask for that. I don't care if it's covid or norovirus or whatever - I don't want it.
I am masking up this Winter - just going through a horrible infection. And trying to keep everyone else safe from me at home - its not easy.
I’m flying on Wednesday and plan to mask.
I don't mask anymore unless I'm sick. But if I catch anything, I'll stay home and mask if I have to around anyone, so I feel like it's fine. I'm only risking my own health and I just don't worry that much about it.
Norovirus doesn't cause coughing and isn't airborne so a mask has nothing to do with it. Wash your hands frequently and be careful about who handles your food. I've successfully avoided getting norovirus from my kid while taking care of her (unmasked). It's avoidable with vigilant hygiene. |
I’d mask on my way to a vacation, otherwise no. Just putting off the inevitable. I’d rather build up immunity to the different variants.
Why the need to ask? You are free to do what you like! Mask if you want, don’t if you don’t.
Norovirus is airborne and you can be infected if you are round the people who is throwing up and you are next to them. |
I don’t mask any longer and rarely see anyone on a plane with a mask. Maybe like 3-4 people per flight. (I’m a frequent flyer)
