Assuming full suite of GPA, test scores, and strong but not recruited ECs.
I'd say UChicago ED Wash U (st louis) Vandy Brown ED ND Service Academies JHU Northwestern ED |
Huh? Weird list.
Brown ED? Nope. Northwestern ED - heavily big donor/legacy or FG and Low Income. |
I agree with all except Brown ED. Maybe Cornell, but not Brown. |
Dartmouth for sure |
Add Cornell and Dartmouth |
Add Emory, Dartmouth, USC |
State flagships. |
Unhooked, top students at our school have been successful at Johns Hopkins, Rice, Northwestern, Cornell, Chicago, Michigan Honors, UVA Honors, Carnegie Mellon, and WashU. Usually ED. Also Service Academies, but that draws a different type of student. Would not do use your ED chance at Brown. |
I second both of the above |
Emory would need to be ED |
Georgetown? |
Bucknell |
Admit rates:
UChicago - 6% Vandy - 7% Brown - 6% JHU - 8% Northwestern - 7% I want to believe this list, but I'm struggling with why I should think these are more "on the table" than other sub-10% admit schools. |
They would all need to be ED apps. |
For a top student, nah. |
