Anyone know if they plan on having these in February like last year and when the signups are? TIA!

No one knows. You will just have to monitor social media closely for their Talent Center Tryouts like many of us here. Their registration closed within a few days last year so act quickly!

Why would DC United Academy kids be trying out for DC United Academy by the dozens?

Academy is on winter break right now. They must be out there playing, getting fit, and get ready for the Spring season.

Did you send in tape/a request to be seen? The scouts were at several of my kid's matches this fall. (Not for my kid)

I've heard from a few families that their DS received a letter invite to trial next week with the current 2010s, so they'll be evaluated at training for a week. Not sure if that's the same thing.
